A collaboration with Boutique Creativa Milano. This project was commissioned by the Italian “Federation against music piracy” in 1998, which entrusted the renowned Milan agency with the design of a new logo that could help raise awareness of this phenomenon. We decided to represent ‘music piracy’ in an amusing but effective way by designing a pirate face using musical iconography, inserted into an octagon (like a stop sign). This logo was viewable for several years on most of the CD covers produced in Italy, and applied on T-shirts, ads, stickers…
